Meet Your Instructor

Hey, I’m Kiley, and I’m very excited to share something new with you – something I’ve been working towards for a while now.

 

Yoga and I have had a love-hate relationship for a long time, but something kept drawing me towards it—the challenge – the reward – the freedom of expression. I wanted to learn more about yoga and the different poses, so I decided to further my knowledge. I started training to be a yoga instructor.

 

The incredible Yoga training I received was to learn more about the postures and its history and connect with different people who shared the same passion as me. The journey was unexpected and scary. I thought, “I can not teach – I am not flexible – I am not in the best shape – and I wasn’t practicing Yoga every day – How could I possibly teach others?!

 

After completing my training, I realized it’s not about being flexible, ‘in-shape,’ or exercising. You don’t have to be “the yoga type” to experience its benefits. You only need to show up as who you are today, breathe and be kind to yourself.

S.U.P Yoga

Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) yoga was created to take you away from the hustle and ask you to slow down – to reconnect you with yourself.

 

 

Natural environment

We have been stuck inside for over a year! Join us for a class on our peaceful lake and find your freedom of expression. 

 

Small Class Sizes

Yoga asks you to challenge yourself. You will struggle. You will tip over, just like in life. Feel comfortable in our small group setting.

 

 

Headwind Yoga serves as a regular reminder for people that they have the freedom to be themselves.

SUP Yoga Class Schedule

Every Saturday in July & August

9:30AM-11AM

$40 +HST per person

SUP Fit Class Schedule

Get out of the gym and onto the water with SUP Fit. SUP Fit is a different and exciting one hour on the water with a warm-up, followed by a full-body workout and a cooldown. You’ll use your body weight, the paddle, the board and the water for various exercises to build strength and conditioning! You will be required to wear your PFD during the workout, but you should be comfortable in and around the water.

$30 +HST per person

What Is Provided:

  • Level Six Cruising SUP
  • PFD
  • SUP Paddle Board Leash
  • Whistle
  • Throw Bag
 
 
Note: Our lake warms very quickly, so wetsuits and drysuits are generally not required. If you prefer to wear one, you’re encouraged to bring your own with you, or Farmer John wetsuits are available for rent.

Things To Bring:

  • Sunglasses and glasses float (can be purchased on-site)
  • Sunscreen and lip balm (waterproof)
  • Proper water clothing, bathing suit, swim shorts, quick-dry top, etc… (whatever you feel most comfortable wearing)
  • Water shoes (not required)
  • Lots of water
  • A complete change of clothes and towel

CANCELLATION POLICY

Classes are non-refundable; however, a credit is kept on file in the instance of cancellation. This credit can be used towards a future class or purchase. 

Frontenac Outfitters reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to extreme weather or lack of participation.
